What are Digitalization Vouchers?

Digitalization Vouchers are non-repayable funds from the European Union aimed at encouraging investments by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the implementation of digitalization and digital business transformation.

Who are the vouchers intended for?

The vouchers are intended for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

What is the purpose of the vouchers?

The purpose is to increase the level of digital maturity among SMEs.

How are the vouchers awarded?

They are awarded through an open procedure.

Each applicant can be granted a maximum of two different vouchers under this Call. In the allocation process, an applicant may have only one project proposal at the same time.

What is the application deadline?

There are several deadlines for submitting project proposals:

Deadline from June 1 to July 7, 2023.

Deadline from November 1 to December 1, 2023.

Deadline from March 1 to April 1, 2024.

What are all the vouchers and the amounts for each voucher:

Voucher for improving digital skills: up to €9,990.00

Voucher for digital marketing: up to €9,990.00

Voucher for creating a digital transformation strategy: up to €9,990.00

Voucher for cybersecurity diagnostics: up to €14,500.00

Voucher for complex digital solutions: up to €19,900.00 Support Intensity: 60% of eligible costs

VOUCHER FOR IMPROVING DIGITAL SKILLS

About the voucher:

Specialized informal learning programs focused on developing digital skills that will enable the Applicant's employees to carry out digitalization, use digital marketing and communication tools (work in e-commerce and m-commerce, online advertising, website administration), analyze data, develop applications, software design, digital design, cloud computing, and more.

IDE3 service:

Education of software design and security experts, education of data management experts, and the development of new digital skills related to cloud computing, upskilling the workforce in adopting digital skills - using digital tools and applications.

Conditions:

Applicants can include one or more training sessions in a single application, provided that:

At least 20% of all employees are included in the voucher training.

Training sessions are conducted live (including online) and in real-time.

After completing the training, a test of acquired knowledge/examination is conducted, and a certificate is issued for each participant.

The eligible total training costs for one employee do not exceed EUR 1,000.00.

VOUCHER FOR DIGITAL MARKETING

About the voucher:

Creation of the company's website, including hosting services and domain costs for a duration of 12 months from the date of service delivery (as part of the service delivery from the same service provider), along with employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.

Creation of a landing page (subpage of the applicant's website), including hosting services and domain costs for a duration of 12 months from the date of service delivery (as part of the service delivery from the same service provider), along with employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 1 hour.

Development of a mobile application, including employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.

Creation of a web application for the purpose of automating business processes, improving customer communication, streamlining data processing, connecting to databases, and enhancing the monitoring and analysis of business processes. This activity may include hosting services and domain costs for a duration of 12 months from the date of service delivery (as part of the service delivery from the same service provider), along with employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 1 hour.

Development of an e-commerce website, including hosting services and domain costs for a duration of 12 months from the date of service delivery (as part of the service delivery from the same service provider), along with employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.

Social media management (at least 1 social network) and employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.

IDE3 service:

Creation of a web application for the purpose of automating business processes, improving customer communication, streamlining data processing, connecting to databases, and enhancing the monitoring and analysis of business processes. This activity may include hosting services and domain costs for a duration of 12 months from the date of service delivery (as part of the service delivery from the same service provider), along with employee education related to the voucher's purpose, provided by the service provider, with a minimum duration of 1 hour.

VOUCHER FOR DEVELOPING A DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY

About the voucher:

Defining achievable goals for digital transformation and creating measures to achieve the specified objectives, including analyzing the current state and environment, exploring the potential for business optimization through digitization, process and organizational optimization, and other actions that can contribute to adapting the organization to the digital age. This includes the methodology for monitoring the implementation of the digital strategy (with key performance indicators - KPIs).

The digital transformation strategy should align with the company's business strategy (to which strategic directions and existing strategic objectives it pertains) or with the business plan and goals if the company does not have a developed business strategy.

This activity should result in a clear action plan that the company can follow to be able to say, after its implementation, that it has successfully adapted to the digital age through the introduction of new application solutions, a change in organizational culture, process optimization, and other means.

IDE3 service:

Defining digital transformation goals and creating implementation plans, consulting services.

Conditions:

The company must have at least 3 full-time employees (the business owner in the case of a sole proprietorship is counted as an employee).

VOUCHER FOR CYBERSECURITY DIAGNOSTICS

About the voucher:

Cybersecurity assessment of the company through security system checks/data leakage checks.

Conducting penetration testing with the creation of corresponding reports, including security testing and detection of cyber threats to the company's information system.

Analysis of collected data and definition of additional system improvements.

Generating reports for regulatory purposes, certification bodies, and more.

Employee education provided by the service provider to enhance competency in achieving cybersecurity for the company, with a minimum duration of 3 hours.

 

 

 

IDE3 Service:

Creation of security reports, data leakage checks, security testing, and cyber threat detection for information systems, definition of additional system improvements, consulting, and recommendations for improvement.

VOUCHER FOR COMPLEX DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

About the voucher:

This voucher covers the service of implementing complex digital solutions that enable a company to develop digital business models, strengthen its capacity for digitization and digital transformation. These solutions may include Industry 4.0 solutions, development of network systems and processes, IoT (Internet of Things), smart services, automation, projects involving Big Data, simulation models, virtual and augmented reality, integrated systems (e.g., BI and analytics, market integration, drop-shipping on at least one major market), enterprise resource planning, digital productivity solutions, and customer relationship management solutions. It also includes key performance indicators (KPIs) for each delivered solution and employee education provided by the service provider in adopting advanced digital skills related to the voucher's purpose, with a minimum duration of 6 hours.

Activities should be aligned with the company's digital transformation strategy or, in the case of companies without a developed digital transformation strategy, with the company's business strategy.

IDE3 Service:

Consulting and the creation of technical documentation and proposals for digital productivity and business management solutions, such as CRM, ERP, and similar application solutions, business process automation, and system development for business improvement.

Condition:

The company must have at least 3 full-time employees (the business owner in the case of a sole proprietorship is counted as an employee).
