How did it all start?
In June 2017, when a computer in one of the daycare groups at the Trešnjevka Children's Daycare stopped working. At that time, we also had a non-functioning computer in our office, and our IT colleagues took it upon themselves to make it operational and donate it to the daycare. And that's how it all began. By the end of 2017, we had over 30 successful donations, and at this moment, there are 10 more computers waiting to be refurbished and donated.
What is the process of computer donation like?

If you have a computer, monitor, or additional equipment at home that you no longer need or is not working, contact us at the email donacije@ide3.hr to arrange for pickup.
STEP: PICKUP, REVIEW, AND EQUIPMENT RECONDITIONING
Afterward, our diligent IT technicians will assess the current condition of the device and then work to make it operational and complete it with a functioning monitor, mouse, and keyboard. They will also completely erase all data from your disks.
STEP: DONATION
After that, the completed computer, into which we have gladly invested our expertise and additional effort to bring it back to life, goes to bring joy to children's faces.

Whom do we donate the computers we make operational to?
We donate computers to needy children, orphanages, associations, or kindergartens, and you can also choose whom you want to donate the computer to in need. The donation process is completely transparent. So far, we have received several donation requests by email and have also reached out to needy homes through social media. For every equipment donation, the donor receives a donation certificate.
